Where to buy groceries in Iceland?

This is the most prominent grocery store in Iceland. They have several locations throughout Iceland, and you can find several along the ring road. The vast majority of their stores and Iceland markets are in Reykjavik. Bónus is a budget supermarket in Iceland. The shops are the Icelandic equivalent of a Lidl or Aldi.

There are about 31 stores in all of Iceland and 19 in the Reykjavik area alone. Outlets all over Iceland, especially along the Ring Road. For our 5-day trip to Iceland, we stocked up on food items like bread, sandwich spread, eggs, biscuits, wafers, noodles, juices, chips etc. from Bonus.

Does Iceland have a liquor store?

The State Alcohol and Tobacco Company of Iceland operate the liquor shops with a logo of three red grapes on them. These off-license stores have wines, beer, and other alcoholic drinks on offer. The stores are open from Monday to Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm, Friday from 1 pm to 6 pm. The stores are closed on weekends.
